Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor's wife Maheep Kapoor, who is also an esteemed Jewellery Designer, was recently interviewed by Bollywood Hungama. The designer talked about her love for Jewellery and how her latest collection is regal and inspired by Mughal Era. When asked if her eldest daughter Shanaya Kapoor has the same taste and passion for Jewellery as her, she said “ She knows a lot about jewelry and is becoming a lot more aware of it with time. She likes it more subtle and simple”. Maheep added that she often suggests different types of ornaments to her daughter Shanaya but she is very particular with her choices.
While talking about Shanaya’s sense of style, Maheep said that she knows what she wants and is very sure of what she wants to wear. She also mentioned that she was not as confident as Shanaya when she was her age and that is something that she admires about her daughter.
In another segment of the interview when Maheep was asked about her reaction for Shanaya’s poster release, she said “Like any parent, we woke up early and were continuously on the phone. We want the best for her, just like every mom”.
Maheep Kapoor is Sanjay Kapoor’s wife with whom she shares two children - Shanaya Kapoor and Jahaan Kapoor. Shanaya Kapoor is 22 year old and is all set to make her debut in Bedhadak next to Lakshya and Gurfateh Singh Pirzada.
