Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have been sharing several photos from their recent engagement ceremony that was held in a lavish manner in New Delhi. While Parineeti is a popular star, known for films like Ishaqzaade and Hasee Toh Phasee, Raghav is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party. This union of politics and Bollywood was held in the capital at the lavish Kapurthala House against the backdrop of ivory-white theme.
The wedding designer/planner of the couple took to social media to share some inside photos of the engagement. In the photos shared by Vandana Mohan, she has described the décor that was filled with many homely elements like low and comfy seating, coffee table filled with books etc. Mohan has described in her post that the couple were keen on keeping the atmosphere very cosy as the guestlist comprised of a chosen few, family members, relatives, and friends. “The styling for this special day was done like I would do up corners of my home,” her post read.

The ceremony saw the couple sporting an ivory and white themed ensembles, matching the décor. The engagement ceremony of the couple is expected to have kicked off with an ardaas (prayer), followed by the ring exchange ceremony, post which the guests danced their evening away. Guestlist included some prominent members like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who flew down from the US to attend her cousin’s engagement as well as Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, who is also the leader of AAP.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha is expected to have met in London and fallen in love during the shoot of the actress’ film Chamkila in Punjab. The couple is said to be tying the knot by the end of October this year.
