Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently welcomed their adorable baby girl, Raha, and their new journey as parents has been making headlines. The couple has been spotted multiple times, radiating family goals while spending time with their little one. Despite her busy work schedule with an upcoming film, Alia Bhatt took some time to open up about the contents of her bag.
In an interview with Vogue, Alia shared a sneak peek into her bag, revealing various items she carries. Among them, she proudly displayed a golden bracelet that Ranbir gifted her on her birthday. She expressed how much she treasures it and wears it whenever she's not filming, especially during outings and dinners. However, she has to take it off while shooting for a movie. She shared, “This is new. My husband gave this to me for my birthday, so I like to keep it with me because whenever I’m not in the middle of a shoot, I’m going for lunch or dinner or I’m going out or whatever, I put it on. I have to take it off if I’m filming for a movie or something, so I like to keep it close.”
Apart from the sentimental bracelet, Alia's bag essentials include hair ties, lip balm, and a hairbrush, which are common items for most people. But her bag has taken on a new meaning ever since she became a mother. As a new mommy, she also carries essentials for her daughter Raha. Alia fondly shared that her bag has transformed into Raha's bag, holding pacifiers, napkins, a burp cloth, mittens, an extra pair of socks, a little toy, and a small book when she travels with her. Alia said, “I realised when I was travelling from Mumbai to London, my bag had nothing to do with me. It basically just had my passport. Otherwise, it was her pacifier, her napkins, a burp cloth, her mittens, extra pair of socks, a little toy, a little book. And I was like my bag has now become Raha’s bag. It’s no longer my bag.”
For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia welcomed Raha in November 2022, and made the announcement through social media. To announce the name of her daughter and explain the meaning behind it, Alia dropped an elaborate post.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is slated to release in theatres on July 28, 2023. In her pipeline, she also has director Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. Apart from this, she also will make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Shraddha Kapoor. The film was directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films’, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Bhushan Kumar. TJMM received rave reviews and did well at the box office. Ranbir also has Animal in the pipeline alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri.
