Koffee With Karan has been one chat show which seems to piqued the interest of audiences across the globe. Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the show is known for having the ‘controversial couch’ wherein stars often speak candidly and open up about several subjects including their personal life. While some celebrities from the South like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli have been a part of the chat show, another pan India star, Nani was asked if he would join the host for a hot cuppa and even hotter conversation.
In a recent round table of India Today, Nani was asked about being a part of Koffee With Karan and his refusal seems to have garnered quite a bit of attention. The South actor said, “I will definitely say no to Koffee with Karan. I would say that very politely to him, but I will definitely go and visit him personally and talk.” From what we hear, the actor is rather private person and refrains from divulging details about his personal life, because of which he maintained that he would rather stay away from the chat show. In the same breath, Nani also expressed his desire to speak to Karan Johar regarding his films as he really appreciates Johar’s vision as a filmmaker and would like to learn from him.
Coming to his upcoming films, Nani is currently gearing up for the release of Hi Nanna which will hit the theatres on December 21 in all South languages as well as Hindi. The film, directed by debutant Shouyuv, stars Mrunal Thakur and revolves around the emotional bond between a father and daughter. Besides that, he also has the Priyanka Arul Mohan and SJ Suryah starrer Saripodhaa Sanivaaram in the pipeline.
