Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty took to social media today to celebrate the first wedding anniversary of his daughter, Athiya Shetty, and Indian cricketer KL Rahul. In a touching note, Shetty expressed his joy and blessings for the newlyweds.
Shetty shared a heartwarming photo of the couple and wrote, “Happy first anniversary bachchas.” In no time, the comments section was flooded with wishes for the couple. Meanwhile, Athiya also reacted to the post and commented, “Love you papaaa,” followed by a red-heart emoticon.

For the unversed, Athiya and KL got married in January last year at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse in the presence of close friends and family members. "In your light, I learn how to love... Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that's given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post.

Speaking of Athiya, she made her Bollywood debut with the 2015 film Hero. She also played the lead in the comedy film Mubarakan. She was last seen in the movie Motichoor Chaknachoor with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She is often seen walking the ramp at fashion shows.
Coming to Suniel Shetty, he was last seen in Hunter - Tootega Nahi, Todega, an MX Player web show. He has a couple of exciting projects in his kitty, including the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle.
