Being touted to be a sci-fi romance drama, the anticipation for Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has been high ever since its inception. While audiences were keen on witnessing the chemistry between the fresh pair of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the entertainer, they got a glimpse of the same in the recently released trailer. As for their real life chemistry, throwing light on their bond was Shahid at the trailer launch where he confessed that he was keen on working with Sanon and has been impressed with her acting chops.
Kriti Sanon's enticing performance as a robot in the trailer has already initiated a wave of admiration from fans. Shahid Kapoor, her co-star in the movie, couldn't resist showering praises on Kriti. In a recent promotional event, the actor was seen sharing, "I was really looking forward to work with Kriti because I really have enjoyed her work.. in the last few year she has really raised the bar as an actor. Some of the work that she has done is a very mature work of an actor, not just a star who is also an actor but of an actor from her heart. From the first film that you could see that Kriti has a lot of potential and she wants to perform. And then when I met her, I actually found her to be chilled out, intelligent. She was talking about things in a way that were interesting and exciting. And I actually was curious to understand who she is as a person. "
Apart from the duo, the film also stars veteran actors like Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in key roles. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film is slated for release during the Valentine’s week, on February 9.
