Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah visited Ayodhya alongside his wife-actress Shefali Shah. The couple graced the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotasav, a celebration at the land of Ayodhya, upon the invitation of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust authorities.
The consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya happened today January 22 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. As per a report in The Hindu, an array of selected 506 influential figures, spanning politicians, industrialists, film stars, and more have received invitations.
Apart from Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Shefali Shah, Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Hirani, among others also flew to the city to attend the ceremony.
On the work front, following the success of The Kerala Story in 2023, Vipul Amrutlal Shah is now embarking on yet another journey with Bastar: The Naxal Story. Collaborating with Sudipto Sen and Adah Sharma, the film, based on real-life events, is set to unveil another truth-revealing narrative. Sunshine Pictures, the production house behind the project, recently unveiled the first look posters and announced the release date of Bastar: The Naxal Story on March 15, 2024.
