Varun Dhawan, Prime Video's very own ‘Prime Bae’, recently brought his signature wit and boundless energy to the streaming giant's offices. A viral video captured Dhawan hilariously crashing a marketing team meeting, brimming with "outrageous, crazy, and pathbreaking" ideas for the Indian promotion of the highly anticipated action-comedy Heads of State, starring global icons John Cena, Idris Elba, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
From pitching the pulp-fiction inspired Hindi title "Desh ke Sir - Baaki Sab Be-asar" to advocating for the use of India's iconic Sutli bomb as a special effect, and even humorously suggesting he voice all three lead characters, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Dhawan's innovative (and admittedly wild) suggestions might not have won much points in the meeting, but certainly received A for effort from the viewers! Dhawan signed off the video by promising Heads of State that be a thrilling and unmissable action-comedy, now streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film also stars Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles, rounding out the star-studded ensemble cast. The high-stakes action comedy, packed with political twists and comedic turns, is now streaming exclusively on Prime Video in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
