Ankit Tiwari recreates the iconic song Rimjhim Gire Sawan as the monsoon kick starts

Ankit Tiwari, best known for several chartbusters, has been entertaining fans not only on the big screen or at the concerts but has also been fulfilling his fan’s expectations on social media. Along with keeping his fans updated about his personal and professional life, Ankit recently created a new cover version of an iconic number to kick off the monsoon season. With a recent drop of his reel Ankit delivered his version of the famous Kishor Kumar’s rainy melody ‘Rimjhim Gire Sawan’ from the movie Manzil.

Sharing a video of him crooning to this melodious track on social media, he captioned the clip saying, “Baarish season is approaching, and this song has been ringing in my head for few days, thought of humming few lines for all you guys, since so many of you have msged me, so here it is!!! Share it with your loved one and tell me how you like it.” Fans filled the singer’s comment section with praises, demanding him to recompose this melody on the silver screen.

For the unversed, ‘Rimjhim Gire Sawan’ was originally sung by Kishore Kumar and the song was written by Yogesh Gaur whereas the music was composed by RD Burman. It was picturized on Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee.

Ankit Tiwari is the voice behind hit blockbusters like ‘Sun Raha Hai’, ‘Teri Galliyan’, ‘Dil Cheez’ and many more.
