Rajkummar Rao is eagerly awaiting Kalki 2898 AD; says, “I have a lot of love for Telugu cinema”

The highly anticipated Pan-India film, Kalki 2898 AD, is quite close to its release, and excitement is at its peak. With an ensemble one-of-a-kind Pan-Indian cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, the film promises to deliver a unique cinematic experience. In a recent podcast, Rajkummar Rao was asked whether he watches south films, and he replied saying how eager he is for the Prabhas starrer. Rajkummar expressed his excitement, stating, “I do watch Telugu cinema, and I have a lot of love for them. As we say, everything is Pan-India now, and we all are waiting for Kalki 2898 AD to come out now.” Such enthusiasm from industry peers indicates the anticipation for the grand cinematic experience that Kalki 2898 AD is set to offer.

Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced under Vyjayanthi Movies by C Ashwini Dutt, Swapna Dutt, and Priyanka Dutta as producers, the film is set to hit theatres on June 27, 2024. Coming back to Rajkummar Rao, he will next be seen in Mr & Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. The romantic drama with a dose of cricket is all set to release in theatres on May 31.
