Zaeden makes sonic shift with 8-track second album 'Zaeden 02'; also features Pakistani singer Abdul Hannan: "This album is my way of channelling my childlike nature through music"

After months of anticipation for his next album, musician Zaeden returns to dominate the global pop music scene once again with the release of his second music album, Zaeden 02. Building on the success of his debut album Genesis 1:1 in 2021, which has garnered over 450 million streams worldwide, Zaeden’s latest offering promises to showcase his artistic evolution and versatility.

The album turns a page in Zaeden’s artistry and unveils a new chapter in his musical journey. Zaeden 02 promises to reveal a fresh soundscape and visual identity, offering a rich and diverse set of eight tracks that explore the multifaceted nature of love. Fans have already been treated to two singles from the album namely ‘pia <3’ and ‘5 saal’, both of which have received an enthusiastic response and set the stage for the album’s release. In addition to that, the album also features the hit track ‘5am’ which was released by the artist earlier this year, an album intro titled ‘sol’, self-produced track ‘kya hua?’ with the Pakistani singer-songwriter Abdul Hannan, an acoustic version of one of Zaeden’s most loved Punjabi songs ‘Dreams’, ‘kahaniyan’, and ‘secrets’ both produced by the celebrated international producer Val.

With its nostalgic yet forward-thinking sound, Zaeden 02 delves deep into the artist’s musical influences and emotions. It features a variety of musical styles and richer, more nuanced storytelling. The album has been meticulously created and witnesses Zaeden taking on a hands-on role by producing a track for the first time since his debut single ‘tere bina’.

Expressing his excitement about the release of his album, Zaeden shares, “The album features parts of me and the music I've always loved, from pop to electronic dance influences. Zaeden 02 marks a sonic shift for me, a transition before the bigger changes you'll hear in my future singles. Working with some of my favourite producers and even producing a track myself has made this journey special. I created these songs with my live shows in mind, aiming for people to jump, dance, and escape their worries. This album is my way of channelling my childlike nature through music. I hope you have the best time listening to it.” ALSO READ: American DJ KSHMR teams up with King and Zaeden on new track ‘Aawara’: They are both so talented, not only at singing but writing as well
