Junaid Khan on seeking inspiration from characters: "I look at work as the story"

Following the successful release of his debut film, Maharaj, Junaid Khan has garnered significant acclaim for his compelling portrayal of Karsandas Mulji, a progressive thinker in pre-independence Bombay. His performance struck a chord with viewers, emphasizing themes of social reform and personal resilience. This success has undoubtedly set high expectations for his future projects!

In a recent interview during NDTV Yuva, Junaid Khan shared his distinctive approach to acting, highlighting that his primary focus lies in the narratives rather than individual characters. When prompted about which character has inspired him and whether he would like to take on that role, he said, "I love stories. Characters are a part of the story. I think I look at work as the story, not the character so much."

On the work front, Junaid is set to feature in two upcoming untitled romantic films. One of these films will pair him with Sai Pallavi, while the other will see him alongside Khushi Kapoor.
