He explained his decision in a recent interview, saying that the lengthy commitments required by TV roles no longer fit his career goals.

“At the moment, no, I do not [have plans for a TV comeback],” Ram told Pinkvilla. “If you want to have a successful TV show, you get stuck doing the same role for three or four years. But now, since I’m accepted as a good, strong actor in OTT and films, I’m getting a wide variety of roles every year.”

A new space for Ram in OTT and Films Kapoor highlighted how much he enjoys the creative freedom that comes with short-term projects in films and OTT platforms. “Each project I do is completely different from the other, and I’m loving this space. Going back to television, where I’d be playing one role for years, is something I can’t even imagine now,” he added.

After dominating the TV space for years, Ram successfully transitioned to films, appearing in projects like Karthik Calling Karthik, Agent Vinod, Student of the Year, and Udaan. His performance in these films has only enhanced his reputation as a versatile actor.
