Saif Ali Khan reviews the performance of Kareena Kapoor Khan in The Buckingham Murders; says "She has killed it”

As she completes 25 years, Kareena Kapoor Khan returned to theatres in the Hansal Mehta film The Buckingham Murders which released during the weekend, after premiering in several film festivals. The film is a mystery thriller featuring the actress in a never-seen-before avatar and amid many who were left impressed with her performance in her debut production, also showering praises on her was her husband Saif Ali Khan who recently reviewed the film.

Saif Ali Khan appreciated Kareena Kapoor Khan calling it one of the stellar performances of her career. In a recent interview, as he expressed his enthusiasm for the film’s release, the actor shared that he has already watched the film and sharing his review on the same, he said, “I am really excited about The Buckingham Murders. I’ve been busy promoting my own film Devara. From the little that I have seen, I think she has killed it. I wish the team all the best.” The film features Kareena Kapoor Khan investigating a cold-blooded case while dealing with her own grief and loss as a mother.

Set against the chilly winters of England, the film marks the debut of Kareena Kapoor Khan as a producer and she also reunited with Ektaa R Kapoor followed by their successful projects like Veere Di Wedding and Crew. The Buckingham Murders also boasts of an ensemble cast, which also includes Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen in key roles. Directed by Hansal Mehta and written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, it is a Mahana Films and TBM Films production, presented by Balaji Telefilms and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and first-time producer Kareena Kapoor Khan. It hit cinemas on September 13, 2024.
