Recently, Ayushmann Khurrana starred in Dream Girl 2 alongside Ananya Panday, which garnered positive reviews from both fans and critics. Next, he is reportedly set to appear in Vampires of Vijay Nagar.
According to Pinkvilla, Dinesh Vijan and Aditya Satpodar have chosen Ayushmann and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead actors for their horror-comedy with a vampire theme. A source revealed that Ayushmann and Dinesh previously collaborated on Bala, fostering a strong creative relationship.
They have been discussing Vampires of Vijay Nagar for some time and aim to begin filming by the end of this year, with plans to start in November 2025. The source also mentioned that this film will mark the second collaboration between Aditya Satpodar and Dinesh Vijan, following the success of Munjya.
This project will be the first collaboration between Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, featuring unique character arcs for both actors that are expected to surprise audiences. The script is currently in the writing phase and will soon transition into pre-production.
Meanwhile, Tahira is celebrating the success of her latest directorial project, Sharmajee Ki Beti, which stars Sakshi Tanwar, Saiyami Kher, and Divya Dutta in key roles. The film, which she both wrote and directed, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
