The much-awaited announcement has finally been done! Director Prasanth Varma announced that Kantara star Rishab Shetty will be the lead in his movie titled Jai Hanuman. The movie is a sequel to his 2024 blockbuster HanuMan, which starred Teja Sajja in the lead role. Fans have waited for several months to know who will take the franchise ahead. Well, the wait is now over. Severak times, Prasanth Varma teased that the actor he is casting in the sequel is someone big. Fans made their own assumptions. Now that we know it is none other than Rishab Shetty, the excitement and expectations are sky-high. Today, Prasanth not only revealed that Rishab is the lead, he also shared the actor's first look as Lord Hanuman. In the poster, Lord Hanuman is holding a statue or Lord Rama. On Instagram, Varma captioned the post, "A vow from the Tretayuga, bound to be fulfilled in the Kaliyuga. Along with hinting that the sequel will have a big star, director Prasanth also mentioned that Jai Hanuman will be made at a grander scale and will be a remarkable watch for his audience. The movie will release in Imax 3D, thus elevating the overall experience. In the comments, fans have shared their reactions to Rishab's casting. Meanwhile, Rishab Shetty also has Kantara: Chapter 1, a prequel to his 2022 superhit movie. He will be directing the movie, which also stars him along with Jisshu Sengupta and others.
