Following its theatrical release earlier this year, Crazxy starring Sohum Shah, is now set for its digital premiere. The film will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from April 25, 2025, after completing its eight-week post-theatrical window.
Directed by Girish Kohli, Crazxy is a 93-minute psychological thriller that takes place almost entirely inside a car, adding an immersive layer of tension to the narrative. Sohum Shah plays Dr. Abhimanyu Sood, a surgeon and a father whose life takes a sudden turn when he is forced into a race against time to save his kidnapped daughter. The story unfolds in real-time, combining emotional stakes with a tightly wound sense of urgency.
Despite releasing alongside other films, Crazxy managed to hold its ground in cinemas, with audiences praising its unique storytelling approach and Shah’s intense performance. Its run was marked by strong word-of-mouth, leading to increased screen count during its second week.

The film’s music has also received attention, featuring contributions from a diverse set of composers including Vishal Bhardwaj, Laxmikant–Pyarelal, The Red Kettle, Manan Bhardwaj, Khullar G, Yeah Proof, Harshavardhan Rameshwar, and Osho Jain. Lyrics by Gulzar also add depth to the narrative. The film also features iconic voices and songs, offering a nostalgic yet fresh auditory experience. Visually, Crazxy cinematographers Sunil Borkar and Kuldeep Mamania along with dditors Sanyukta Kaza and Rythem Lath also received much appreciation.
Produced by Sohum Shah Films, Crazxy arrives on OTT for viewers who missed it in theatres. With its blend of emotional intensity and thriller elements, the film offers a contained yet compelling viewing experience. Fans are really excited to catch the premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from April 25 onwards.
