Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s much-loved #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter) once again turned into a lively exchange between the actor and his fans. Among the many questions pouring in, one fan asked SRK for his thoughts on Kannada superstar Yash and his upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups.
The fan wrote, “Your opinion on Rocking Star Yash and his upcoming movie #ToxicTheMovie.” To this, SRK responded with his characteristic warmth, “My love to Yash, he is toooo sweet.”
The brief yet affectionate reply quickly went viral, sparking joy among fans of both stars. Social media was soon flooded with posts celebrating the camaraderie between two of Indian cinema’s biggest icons.
Yash, who redefined Kannada cinema’s global image with KGF, is among the most closely watched stars in the country. Shah Rukh Khan’s kind words have only heightened the anticipation for Toxic, which has already been generating massive buzz for its scale and storytelling.
Interestingly, earlier in the day, the film also made headlines after speculation surfaced about a possible delay in release. Putting all rumours to rest, the producers KVN Productions issued a clarification, reaffirming that Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups will hit theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Eid–Ugadi–Gudi Padwa festive weekend.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is being described as a unique blend of style, scale, and storytelling.
