The cast and creative team of the beloved sitcom Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai paid an emotional final tribute to veteran actor Satish Shah, who passed away at age 74 in Mumbai due to kidney failure. As a unique gesture during Shah's last rites at the Pawan Hans crematorium, the show's stars sang the series' theme song to his pyre, bidding tearful farewell to the man who played the iconic Indravadan Sarabhai.

Prominent members of the ensemble—including Deven Bhojani, Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly, Paresh Ganatra, producer JD Majethia, and writer Aatish Kapadia—attended Shah’s funeral and joined together for the emotional singing.

Bhojani, who also directed the show, shared a video of the farewell with the words, “May look mad, dark, weird whatever but we always sing this when together & today was not an exception. Felt as if INDU himself insisted and joined us. #RIP #SatishShah ji I am blessed to have directed you in #sarabhaivssarabhai You’ll live forever in our hearts”.
