Shefali Shah to play Jijamata, Rishab Shetty’s mother in The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

In a notable casting update, Shefali Shah has come on board for Sandeep Singh’s upcoming film The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The National Award-winning actress will portray Jijamata, the revered mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while Rishab Shetty takes on the role of the legendary warrior king in the Sandeep Singh-directed project.

Shefali, celebrated for her nuanced and powerful performances, is expected to bring emotional depth to the role of Jijamata, a pivotal figure who helped shape Shivaji Maharaj’s values and vision.
