When Govinda and Chunky Panday share a couch, entertainment is guaranteed — and that’s exactly what viewers can expect from the next episode of Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle. Streaming on Prime Video, the episode features the two 90s stars walking down memory lane with Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, offering a mix of humour, nostalgia, and heartfelt anecdotes from their decades in Hindi cinema.
The conversation begins on a nostalgic note as Twinkle recalls knowing Chunky since childhood. “I remember, your (Chunky’s) mother was a doctor to all the actors. My grandmother knew you. He used to come to our house, and my grandmother always called him ‘Junky Panday’,” she laughs. Chunky adds, “Inki grandmother ka naam tha Bitti Kapadia. Aur maine Twinkle ko diapers mein dekha hai (Her name was Bitti Kapadia. I have seen Twinkle in diapers),” leaving Kajol and Govinda in splits.
Reminiscing about his early memories, Chunky reveals how visiting Rajesh Khanna’s home as a child remains one of his fondest recollections. “Humlog Kaka ji ke ghar jate they to watch video films, kyuki pure Hindustan mein khali doh video player they, ek Kakaji ke ghar pe tha (We used to visit Rajesh Khanna’s house to watch video films, because there were only two video players in all of India—one at his house),” he shares.
Govinda, too, speaks fondly of the late superstar. “I am a diehard fan of your father,” he tells Twinkle, calling Rajesh Khanna a one-of-a-kind hero whose charisma remains unmatched. Kajol agrees, adding, “He was the first superstar of the industry — a super-duper superstar.”
Chunky also shares a lighter moment, recalling how he once tried to affect the box office run of Govinda’s film by selling black market tickets at half price. “Chunky, only you can do this!” Twinkle laughs, calling him the ultimate “jugaadu.”
Perhaps the most unexpected revelation comes when Chunky recalls how he became known as the “Amitabh Bachchan of Bangladesh.” A flight detour to Dhaka led to a chance meeting with a producer, eventually resulting in his debut in Bangladeshi cinema.
