Veteran actor and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, a stalwart in the Indian film industry, is gearing up to unveil the details of the Roshan family's legacy through the upcoming documentary, The Roshans. The upcoming documentary will showcase Rakesh Roshan and the family and their contributions to the cinema. In the documentary, Shah Rukh Khan will be a part of it with who worked with Roshan in Karan Arjun, Koyla, and King Uncle.
In a recent Instagram post, Rakesh Roshan expressed gratitude to Shah Rukh for appearing in this special project. The photos see Roshan alongside Shah Rukh Khan, director Shashi Ranjan, among others. The caption read, “Thank you Shahrukh for your love, warmth & contribution to “The Roshans”.”
Shashi Ranjan shared a photo with Shah Rukh Khan and wrote, “Shot with Shah Rukh. Absolutely pleasure conversing with him.”

The upcoming documentary, as reported by Mid-Day, will explore the impact of the Roshan family and their journey in the industry since 1948. A source said, “Few know that Roshanji’s wife, Ira, was a singer and composer. Such little-known anecdotes about the family will be unveiled in the documentary as it traces the journey of each Roshan. And who better to talk about it than Rakesh, Rajesh and Hrithik? They have all contributed in different forms to the film industry.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan triumphed with the blockbusters Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. While the actor has kept mum about his next venture, rumors suggest a collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan, and filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh.
