Pulkit Samrat is all set to embark on the next phase of his journey with his highly anticipated OTT debut, Glory. The sports crime series, which was recently announced at the grand Netflix event, has already created a buzz with Pulkit stepping into the role of a boxer - a character that the actor has not explored in films.
On Wednesday, Pulkit took to social media to share a photo from the plane leaving fans intrigued. The actor posted a poll story on Instagram and wrote, "Off to the land of Punjabis.. #Glory" – asking fans to guess about his destination and presented them with the options of Amritsar and Delhi. Sources close to the actor revealed that he took off to the airport during the wee hours of Punjab to shoot for the next schedule of Glory.
The series promises to be a gripping tale, and Pulkit's transformation into a boxer has definitely left his fans surprised. From what we hear, considering the intensity of the character, the actor has also been undertaking rigorous training to play the character with conviction.
Coming to the show, at the heart of Glory is Raghubir Singh, a legendary boxing coach who is forced to reunite with his estranged sons, Dev and Ravi, after a brutal attack upends their lives. Old wounds resurface as vengeance looms large, and as Olympic gold hangs in the balance, the family must navigate deadly secrets, bitter rivalries, and the price of ambition.
Produced by Mohit Shah and Karan Anshuman under the banner of Atomic Films, Glory is described as a deeply personal and high-stakes story. The series boasts an ensemble cast featuring Divyendu Sharma and Suvinder Vicky in pivotal roles.
