According to Pinkvilla, the show is being developed as a limited series, with work progressing rapidly. Ektaa Kapoor and her team are taking extra precautions to keep details under wraps.
The report also mentioned that former Minister of Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani, is actively working on reprising her iconic role. The show will reportedly begin with the same unforgettable scene where Tulsi introduces the family, filmed at its original location.
Reports suggest that Amar Upadhyay’s early exit from the ongoing show Doree was primarily due to his decision to join the revival of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
This news has sparked nostalgia and excitement among fans. TV Czarina Ektaa Kapoor is expected to make an official announcement about the show in June 2025.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi premiered in 2000 and ran successfully for eight years. Set against the backdrop of Gujarat, the story follows Tulsi, an ideal daughter-in-law, who marries Mihir Virani, the grandson of a wealthy businessman, as they navigate the challenges of their journey together.
